It is with great sadness that the family of Michael Norval Kenny wish to announce his passing. Michael passed peacefully on December 28, 2022 at the Dr Georges Dumont Hospital in Moncton, NB at the age of 57.

Born in Bathurst, NB, he was the loving son of Norval and the late Anne (Sands) Kenny.

Michael will be fondly remembered by his dad Norval of Bathurst, sister Barbara Hanscom (Kelly) of Moncton, niece Katie Hanscom of Halifax, nephew Kyle Hanscom of Moncton, many aunts and uncles, and several cousins.

Before his accident, Michael worked with his dad at different power plants, in many cities across Canada. He loved working on cars and tinkering with his old truck. He enjoyed long rides on his motorcycle, weekend getaways and watching Nascar.

The family will receive relatives and friends between 7 and 9 p.m. on Wednesday January 4th, 2023 at Elhatton's Funeral Home, Bathurst and on Thursday, January 5th from 12:30 until departure for the funeral which will take place at 2 p.m. from Holy Family Catholic Church.

Donations in memory of Michael may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
