Bathurst - It is with great sadness that we, the family, of Mary Gammon, announce her passing which occurred peacefully at the Chaleur Regional Hospital after a lengthy illness on May 23, 2023 at the age of 92.

Mary was born in Bathurst and was the daughter of the late Cecil Gammon and Nellie (Sansom) Gammon.

Mary worked at the local mill until her retirement and she followed her passion in real estate.

Mary is survived by her sister Helen (Peter) Cooper of Barrie, ON and sister-in-law Janette Gammon of Bathurst, NB.

She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Beside her parents Mary was predeceased by sisters; Lilian Rezansoff and June McKenzie and brothers; William, Clarence, Ernest, Harry and Robert.

There will be no visitation at the funeral home as per her request. A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 23rd at 2:00 p.m. from First United Church, St. Patrick St.

Anyone wishing to send tokens of sympathy, the family would appreciate donations to the Chaleur Regional Palliative Care Unit or a charity of the donors choice.
