Bathurst- It is with great sadness that we the family announce the sudden passing of Stephen MacKenzie, which occurred on Monday August 21st, 2023, at the Chaleur Regional Hospital at the age of 45.

He is survived by his partner Julie Duguay as well as his mother Geraldine (Pitre) MacKenzie and father David MacKenzie.

His children: Crystal MacKenzie, Vanessa MacKenzie, Britany Roy-MacKenzie, Tyler MacKenzie, Gracie Aubie and Benjamin Aubie. The mothers of his children: Veronica Roy and Ruby Aubie. Step-children: Sierra Lynn Duguay, Emily Ann Savoie, Tommy Aubie and Maria Aubie Henry.

His siblings: Stacey (Robby) Aubé, Kevin MacKenzie, Josh MacKenzie and Ryan MacKenzie.

Many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will take place from 7-9 on Monday, August 28, 2023 at Elhatton’s Funeral Home, Bathurst (www.elhatton.com).  There will be no funeral service. 

Donations in memory of Stephen may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada or a charity of the donor’s choice.
