It is with great sadness that the family of Delcina Roberts announce her passing, which occurred on Saturday September 2, 2023, at her residence at the age of 76, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in South Tetagouche, she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Macrina (Legacy) Daigle.
She is survived by three daughters: Amanda Daigle (Michel Lagacé) of Petit-Rocher, Cindy Marquis (Roger) and Natalie Roberts (Michel Roy) both of Bathurst.
Her special grandchildren whom she loved and adored, Payge and Jayden.
One brother, Albany Daigle (late Margaret Good) of Bathurst.
Three sisters: Doris (Cornelius) Imhoff of Port Hope, ON, Yvonne Henry (Oswald Jr.) of Brighton, ON, and Evelyn Legacy (Ronald) of Sainte-Anne, Glou. Co.
Sister-in-law, Anita Caissie Daigle of Bathurst.
She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by two brothers: Johnny, Donald and her common-law-husband, Romeo Cormier.
Delcina loved going to Bingo’s, doing puzzles, playing dice and working in her flowers.
The family would like to thank her caregiver, whom she really liked, Melanie and the Extra Mural nurses, Lynn, Kayla, Josée, Dre R. Pelletier, Dr. P. Eddie and the staff of the 3rd Floor of the Chaleur Regional Hospital for excellent care given to Delcina.
There will be no visitation at the funeral home. Funeral service will be celebrated on Tuesday, September 12, 2023, at 2 p.m. from Elhatton’s Funeral Home Chapel (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst. Donations in memory of Delcina may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, the Extra Mural Program or a charity of the donor’s choice.
