Bathurst – Mrs. Corinne Pitre, wife of the late Aurele Pitre, formerly of South Tetagouche, passed away on Thursday September 28, 2023, at the Foyer Notre Dame de Lourdes, at the age of 93.

Born in South Tetagouche, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Catherine (Gauthier) Gauthier.

She is survived by three sons: Albert Pitre (Debbie) of South Tetagouche, Robert Pitre (Sherry Fagan) and Albany Pitre (Irene) both of Bathurst.

Ten grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

One brother, Fred Gauthier of Bathurst.

Several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was pre-deceased by two daughters: Patricia Pitre, Delina Perry and several brothers and sisters.

The family will receive relatives and friends at Elhatton’s Funeral Home Chapel, Bathurst, after 10 a.m. Wednesday, October 4, 2023, from where the funeral service will be celebrated at 11 a.m.
