Bathurst – Lawrence “Larry” Frigault, 93, of Basin St., Bathurst, passed away on Saturday December 2, 2023, at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst.

Born in Miscou, he was the son of the late Joseph and Mary (Beaudin) Frigault.

He was a 4th Degree member of Msgr. Wheton Assembly, Knights of Columbus 0605, Bathurst. Retired from the former Consolidated Bathurst Paper Mill and worked with the Unemployment Board for many years.

Besides his wife, Joan (Lavigne) Frigault, he is survived by four children: Lynn Glazier (Clifford) and Jeffery Frigault (Nicole) both of South Tetagouche, Rodney Frigault (Christine) of Grand Forks, BC and Wayne Frigault (Lynne) of Bathurst.

Seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Besides his parents, he was pre-deceased by a son, Larry Jr. in 1976.

The family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday December 6, 2023, from 7 to 9 p.m. at Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday December 7, 2023, at 11 a.m. from the Sacred Heart Cathedral, St. Andrew St. Donations in memory of Larry may be made to a charity of the donors choice.
