It is with sadness the family announces the passing of Harvey Coombs, formerly of Poirier Subdivision which occurred at the Foyer Notre Dame de Lourdes, Bathurst, on Thursday February 22, 2024, at the age of 73.

Born in Bathurst, he was the son of the late Clarence and Bernardine (Legacy) Coombs.

Besides his wife, Debra Ann (Lavigne) Coombs, he is survived by his two children:  Tanya (Chris) of Tampa Bay, Florida and Dale of Nigadoo.

A step-son, Josh of Miramichi Road.

Thirteen grandchildren.

Brothers: Clifford Coombs and Laurie Coombs both of Miramichi Road, Stuart Coombs (Gail) of Bathurst.

Three sisters: Lorna Robichaud of Bathurst, Marlene Alexander (Ron) of Miramichi Road and Irma Gallant (Tom) of North Tetagouche.

Several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by a step-daughter, Michelle, four brothers, Glenn, Dale, John, Wayne and one sister, Shirley.

The family will receive relatives and friends at Elhatton’s Funeral Home, Bathurst, on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. There will be no Funeral service. Donations in memory of Harvey may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
