It is with great sadness we, the family, announce the passing of our Mother, Royetta (Doucet) LeBlanc, wife of the late Edgar (Buck) LeBlanc, of Bathurst which occurred at the Chaleur Regional Hospital on Tuesday, February 27, 2024 at the age of 95.

Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the Late Leo P. Doucet and Lila (Dumas) Doucet.

She is survived by her daughters Nancy Relph (Donald) and Marie Johnson (Peter) , daughter-in-law Betty Ann LeBlanc (late David) her sister Joan Blanchard (late Clarence) all of Bathurst, 7 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews.

Besides her husband, she was predeceased by sons Raymond and David, daughter Evelyn Frenette and grandson Christopher Relph. Her brothers: Kenneth, Reginald, Ronald, Robert (Bob) and Blair. Her sisters: Marion Doucet, Eleanor Melanson and Elizabeth (Betty) DeGrace.

During her working years Mom was employed with the former W.J. Kent & Co.

Thank you to the staff at Southern Comfort Villa where Mom resided for the past two years. A special Thank You to their workers Rose, Ruth and Faye whose kindness and generosity to Mom was exceptional and very appreciated.

Services will be held at Elhatton Funeral Home Chapel (www.elhatton.com) on Tuesday, March 5th, 2024 at 2 p.m.

Donations in memory of Royetta may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, MS Society, Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of the donor’s choice.
