It is with great sadness that, we the family announce the passing of Mrs. Yvonne Vienneau, wife of the late Livain Vienneau of Gloucester Junction, which occurred on Friday, March 8th, 2024, at the Chaleur Regional Hospital in Bathurst at the age of 89.

Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Walter Lavigne and the late Elizabeth (Pelletier) Lavigne.

She is survived by her children: Pierrette DiRe (late Eugene) of Mascouche, Qc, Rachel Arseneau (Edwin) of North Tetagouche, Alvin (Christiane) of Terrebone, Qc, Yvon (Lenora) of Chamberlain Settlement and Michel (Anna-Marie) of Gloucester Junction; 10 grandchildren, great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

She also leaves her brothers: Gérald Lavigne (Marie) of Nepisiguit Falls, Wesley Lavigne (Marilyn) of South Tetagouche, Estelle Lavigne, Geraldine Gendron, Norma Birri (Tony), Anita Côté all of Montreal, QC and May Lavigne Doucet (Réginald) of Bathurst.

She is now resting with her sisters: Geraldine (in infancy) Doris, Blanche, Rita, Eleonore and brother Gordon.

There will be no visitation at the funeral home. Funeral service will be held at the Elhatton Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, March 15th, 2024, at 2 p.m. In memory of Yvonne, donations to the Heart and Stoke Foundation or to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
