It is with sadness that we, the family, announce the passing of Mr. Raymond Frenette, husband of the late Yvonne Frenette, which occurred at the Chaleur Regional Hospital in Bathurst on Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at the age of 87. Born in Beresford, he was the son of the late Émile Frenette and the late Dora Boudreau.

He is survived by his children: Francine (Neil Martell), François, Stéphane (Dannie Vienneau), and Patrice (Anne Langevin); 4 grandchildren: Jayden and Karyne Martell (Marc-André Long), Sara-Eve and Samuel Frenette, as well as a great-granddaughter, Maëlle Long. He is also mourned by his sister Gisèle and his brother Gilles (Jeannine); his sisters-in-law: Léda (late Jacques), Florence (late Yvon), Joséphine (late Vincent), Sr. Aurélie, Sr. Emilienne, Rosalie (Bernard Beauchamp), Yvonne (late Célestin), and Colette (late Rodrigue), as well as his brother-in-law Lionel Roy (late Carmen), several nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.

He is now resting with his sister Noëlla (Gérard Desjardins), three brothers Yvanhoe (Marie-Louise), Hubert, and Cléophas (who died in infancy), as well as his sister-in-law Lucienne Duguay (Avila) and two brothers-in-law: Adrien (Hazel) and Mario Payette. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Héritage Funeral Home in Beresford on Sunday, March 17, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM only. The funeral service will take place on Monday, March 18, 2024, at 11:00 AM at the Saint-Nom-de-Jésus Church in Beresford.
