It is with great sadness that we the family announce the passing of Jean Turple, wife of the late Edsel Turple, which occurred in palliative care at the Chaleur Regional Hospital on Wednesday September 4th, 2024, at the age of 89.

Born in Ostrea Lake, NS. She was the daughter of the late Wilson Bowser and the late Margaret (Westhaver) Bowser.

She leaves behind her children: Darrell Turple (Judy) of Bathurst and Terry Turple (Brenda) of Lake Charlotte, NS.

Grandchildren: Brent, Leia, Cory and Kayla.

Sister: Judy McDonald of Truro, NS.

Besides her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her brother Keith.

Jean had such a joy for life. She could light up a room when she walked in with her bright beautiful smile and big blue eyes. She will be missed by so many whom she has touched their lives. We hope you are dancing in the clouds to your favorite Charlie Pride songs.

There will be no visitation. Funeral service will be held on Friday September 13, 2024, at 11a.m. from Elhatton’s Funeral Home Chapel.  The family would like to invite everyone to a reception for food and refreshments following the service at 1160 Birchwood Dr, Bathurst. 

Donations in memory of Jean may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
