It is with great sadness that we, the family, wish to announce the passing of Clifford Landry, husband of the late Bertha Landry which occurred at the Chaleur Regional Hospital in Bathurst on Friday, January 3rd, 2025, at the age of 95.

Born in Lugar, he was the son of the late Pierre and Emma (Arseneau) Landry.

He is survived by his children: Diane Landry of Bathurst, Marcel (Huguette) Landry and Carol Landry both of Beresford.

Four grandchildren: Justin (Jennifer) Landry, Jennifer (Matt) Savoie, Stephanie (Daniel) Bennett and Casandra Landry and five great-grandchildren: Kaden Chamberlain, Charlotte and Harrison Bennett, Cole and Vera Landry.

His brother, Guy Landry (Monique Colombe) of Joliette, QC.

Besides his wife, he was predeceased by a daughter, Linda Landry.

After his retirement at the age 55, Clifford was involved as a volunteer in several organizations for many years, he would often quote “I kept on working, I just stopped getting paid.”

There will be no visitation at the funeral home. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 9, 2025, at 2:00 p.m., at Elhatton’s Funeral Home Chapel (www.elhatton.com).
