Bathurst - Wallace Vienneau, 78, of Chamberlain Settlement Rd., Bathurst, died Tuesday (November 11, 2003) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, after a brief illness.
Born in Timmons, ON, he was the son of the late Martin and May (Power) Vienneau.
He served in World War II, in the Canadian Army with the Toronto Scottish Regiment in Canada and overseas and was a member of the Herman J. Good, V.C. Br. 18, Royal Canadian Legion, Bathurst.
He worked as a mechanic for most of his life.
He was pre-deceased by his wife, the former Geraldine Chamberlain.

The body is resting at Elhatton's Funeral Home, Bathurst. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday morning (November 14, 2003) at 11:00 a.m. from Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Rough Waters Dr., Bathurst. Burial will be in the parish cemetery, St. Mary's Ave. A Legion service was held at the Funeral Home on Thursday afternoon.
