Bathurst … Mrs. Loretta Doucet, wife of the late Wilfred M. Doucet, 85, formerly of West Dr., Bathurst, passed away on Friday (December 28, 2007) at the Foyer Notre Dame de Lourdes, Bathurst. Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Annie (Hurley) Hussey. She was a member of the Holy Family Church Catholic Women’s League, Bathurst and the Retired Teachers Association. She is survived by: Three sons: Gary Doucet (Rhoda) of Prince George, BC Neil Doucet (Karen) and Herley Doucet (Jeannie) both of Bathurst Two daughters: Donna Doucet (James Grant) of Wolfville, NS Colleen Doucet of Charlotown, PEI Two sisters: Helen Carter of Janeville Carmel Furlotte (Walter) of Bathurst 11 Grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by 2 brothers; Cletus and Hurley. The body will rest after 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday morning (December 31, 2007) at 11:00 a.m. from Holy Family Church, St. Peter Ave. Burial will be in the parish cemetery in the spring. For anyone wishing to send tokens of sympathy, the family would appreciate donations to the Alzheimer’s Association or a favorite charity. Visiting hours are Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and Monday from 9:00 a.m. until time of funeral.
