ACEVEDO, Javier - 17, of Bathurst, passed away Saturday, January 12, 2008, as the result of a motor vehicle accident. Born in Bathurst he was the son of Francisco and Ana (Leiva) Acevedo of Bathurst. He was a student of Bathurst High School and member #14 of the BHS Phantoms boys basketball team and soccer team. He is survived by: 3 sisters: Elmy of Newfoundland Carla (Jeff) Johnstone of Bathurst Maria Lemus of Ottawa 1 brother: Gabriel of Windsor, ON Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 15, 2008 at the KC Irving Civic Centre, Bathurst from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. A funeral service will also be held at the Civic Centre on Wednesday, January 16, 2008 at 2p.m. Arrangements are in the care of Elhatton Funeral Home.
