Bathurst - Roger Henry, 63, formerly of South Tetagouche, passed away surrounded by family after a brief illness on Friday, March 7, 2008 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst. Born in South Tetagouche, he was the son of the late Edmund and Isabelle (Hachey) Henry. He worked at Brunswick Mines for 34 years and was recently employed at the Bowlarama. He was an avid bowler. He is survived by: His special friend, Eleanor Keddie of Bathurst; One daughter, Jennifer Henry (Glen Ferguson) of North Tetagouche; One son, Bruce Henry (Trish Daley) of Charlettown, PEI; One granddaughter, Keara Ferguson; His former wife Nicole (Frenette) Henry of Bathurst; Three brothers: Stuart (Therese) of South Tetagouche; Blair of Dartmouth, NS; Richard (Marj) of Calgary, AB; Three sisters: Barbara Morley (Kerry) of Peterborough, ON; Sheila Thébeau (Al) of Bathurst; Sandra Henry-Jamer (Jim) of Moncton, NB; Many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers: Harold and Gregory. Visitation will be on Tuesday, March 11, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Elhatton Funeral Home, Bathurst. A Legion service will be held on Tuesday at 3 PM. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 12, 2008 at 2 PM from the Sacred Heart Cathedral. Burial will be in the St. Mary Magdelene Cemetery, South Tetagouche in the spring.
