Bathurst - Gilles Pratt, 64, of Rough Waters Dr., Bathurst, passed away Sunday (March 9, 2008) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst. Born in Longueuil, Que., he was the son of the late Gaston and Cécile (Brodeur) Pratt. Partner in the “Village du Livre” Book Store, General Manager of the Camber of Commerce for 5 years and most recently, he was on the Board of Referee for the Government of Canada. He is survived by: One daughter: Kim Melanson (Daniel Vienneau) of Rough Waters Two sons: David Melanson (Claudia Landry) of Shelburn, ON Robert Pratt of Moncton Three brothers: René Pratt (Geraldine) of Beresford Jean-Jacques Pratt (Carmelle) of Longueuil, Que. Michel Pratt of Longeuil, Que. One sister: Monique Giguere of St. Lambert, Que. 5 grandchildren; Jenna, Jacob, Jordan, Demi and Darian. Several nieces and nephews. The body will rest after 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Elhatton’s Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday morning (March 13, 2008) at 11:00 a.m. from Holy Family Church. Visiting hours are Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until time of Funeral.
