Bathurst - Mrs. Carmella Doucet, 73, wife of Emile Doucet, of Miramichi Ave., Bathurst, passed away on Saturday (April 19, 2008), at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst. Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Wilfred & Selena (Couture) Huard. Besides her husband, she is survived by: Five daughters: Linda Roy, Shirley Gray (Doran) and Kathleen Dorey (Richard Boudreau) all of Bathurst Brenda Doucet (Jimmy) and Sandra Foote (Paul) both of Orangeville, ON Three sons: Steven Doucet and Bernard Doucet (Charlene) both of Bathurst Ronald Doucet (Diane) of Barrie, ON 11 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Five sisters: Edna Roy, Elizabeth Devereaux, Antoinette Lavigne (Byron), all of Bathurst Viola Roy of Toronto, ON Ella Doucet (Ronald) of Petit-Rocher She was pre-deceased by a sister; Valerie Boudreau and a brother; Frances Huard. The family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday (April 22, 2008) at Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Funeral Service will be celebrated on Wednesday (April 23, 2008) at 4:00 p.m. from the Funeral Home Chapel with Father Edmond Chamberlain officiating. Burial will be in the St. Mary's Cemetery, East Bathurst, later in the spring.
