Bathurst - Mrs. Martina Dufresne, 94, wife of the late Edouard Dufresne, formerly of Allardville, passed away on Tuesday (April 22, 2008) at the Foyer Notre Dame de Lourdes, Bathurst. Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Jerome and Elizabeth (Bertin) Couture. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family of ten children. She is survived by: Sister-in-law: Carmella Couture of Bathurst Brother-in-law: Antonio Juliano of Bathurst Several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by brothers; Alexandre, Peter, Victor, Edward, sisters; Beatrice Boucher, Janie Roy, Adèle Losier, Bella Chamberlain and Evangeline Juliano. There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday (May 1, 2008) at 4:00 p.m. from Eglise Christ-Roi, Allardville.
