Bathurst – It is with sadness, that we announce the death of Ronald "Ronny" Chiasson, loving husband to Carmelle Robichaud, of Sunset Dr., Bathurst, which occurred Tuesday (May 20, 2008) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, at the age of 70. Born in Bathurst, he was the son of the late William Chiasson and late Valérie Lanteigne. Besides his wife, he is survived by: One brother: Ivan Chiasson (Gale) of Bathurst, Three sisters : Jean Arseneau (Léonard) and Yvette Boyes (John) both of Bathurst, Gisèle Pelley of Calgary, Alb., Two sisters-in-law: Edna Chiasson and Grace Thériault, both of Bathurst. He was pre-deceased by four sisters; Anita Arseneau, Bertilde Arsenault, Effie Poitras, Judy Hayes, and two brothers ; Lewis and Jean. Also, many nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly. Ronald was the manager and operator of the former Kent Theater and also worked with Radio Atlantic (CKBC & Max 104.9 The body is resting at Elhatton’s Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday (May 24, 20080) at 11:00 a.m. from Our Lady of the Rosary Church, St. Peter Ave., Bathurst. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Visiting hours for Ronald Chiasson are Friday, 23 May 2008 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday, 24 May 2008 from 9 a.m. until time of funeral.
