Clifton - Mrs. Lois Knowles, 84, wife of the late Reginald T. Knowles, of Clifton, passed away on Monday (May 26, 2008) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, after a short illness. Born in Janeville, she was the daughter of the late Irving and Gladys (Knowles) Scott. She was pre-deceased by her husband, Reginald T. Knowles in 2002. She is survived by: One son: John Knowles (Debbra) of Cayley, AB Two daughters: Ellen Knowles of Bathurst Joan (Ray Minkensky) of Victoria, BC Two sisters: Ella Parkin (John) of Moncton Barbara Hinton of Bathurst 2 grandchildren; Sara and Jackson, several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by a brother; Edward. The body will rest after 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday afternoon at 3:00 p.m. from Christ Church Anglican, Clifton. Burial will be in the Church cemetery. Visiting hours are Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9.
