Montreal, QC - Robina Lavigne, 71, of Montreal, QC, passed away on Tuesday (June 24, 2008) in Montreal, following a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late William T. and Elizabeth (Duclos) Lavigne. Robina worked for over 40 years in the Electronics Industry in both Montreal and Toronto. Upon her retirement, she enjoyed wintering in Florida and taking cruises. She is survived by: Two sisters: Patrina (Werner) Hofmann of Montreal Gloria (Raymond) Doucet of Bathurst Five brothers: Elmer, Maynard (Jessie), David (Pam), Thomas and Omer (Emma) all of Bathurst Numerous nieces and nephews. Robina was pre-deceased by two sisters; Anita Degrace, Marjorie Blanchard, four brothers; Cletus, Alvin, Edgar and Norman. The body is resting at Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday morning (June 28, 2008) at 10:30 a.m. from the Sacred Heart Cathedral, St. Andrew St., Bathurst. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Visiting hours are Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until time of Funeral.
