Bathurst – Mrs. Mary Boucher, 85, wife of late Gordon Boucher (1984), formerly of King Ave., Bathurst, which occurred Tuesday September 30, 2008 at the Chaleur regional hospital. Born in Bathurst, she is daughter of late Nicholas and Josephine (Doucet) Lavigne. She is survived by: Two sons: Roger (Geraldine) of Big River, David (Sandra) of Chamberlain Settlement. One daughter: Rita Noël (Roland) of Montréal. 4 grandchildren; Graig, Neal, Mark and Annik. 7 great grandchildren She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Predeceased by a brother; Alphie and a sister; Lillian. The body will rest after 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Elhatton’s Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday afternoon (October 3, 2008) at 2:00 p.m. from the Sacred Heart Cathedral, St. Andrew St, Bathurst. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Visiting hours are Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and Friday from noon until time of Funeral.
