Bathurst - Lorraine Mallet, 67, formerly of King Ave., Bathurst, passed away on Wednesday (October 15, 2008) at the Villa Sormany, Robertville, after a brief illness. Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of Estelle (Cormier) Mallet and the late Henri Mallet. Besides her mother of the Villa Sormany in Robertville, she is survived by: Three brothers: Eric Mallet (Mary) of Edmonton, AB Gerald Mallet (Carmelle) of Petit-Rocher, NB Tom Mallet (Edie) of Ottawa, ON Three sisters: Jeanne Richard (Yves) of Fredericton, NB Edna Park (Reed) of Miramichi, NB Mona Bottomley (Gary) of Darthmouth, NS Several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by a brother; Donald and a sister; Corinne. The body will rest after 9:30 a.m. Friday (October 17, 2008) at the Elhatton's Funeral Home Chapel, St. George St., from where the Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. with Father Greg Culligan officiating. Burial will be in the Sacred Heart Cathedral parish cemetery. Donations in memory of Lorraine may be made to a charity of the donors choice.
