Bathurst – Mrs. Irene Hudon, 86, wife of Henry Hudon, formerly of Bridge St., Bathurst, passed away Thursday, January 15 2009 at The Foyer Notre Dames de Lourdes in Bathurst. Born June 15, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Wilfred and Margaret (O'Brien) Dickie. She was the last surviving member of immediate family. Besides her husband, Henry, she is survived by: One daughter: Nancy (Ormond Beach) of Florida. Two sons: David (Sharon) of Thunder Bay, ONT John (Phyllis) of Bathurst. 7 grandchildren; Carla Hopson-Keene, Dean McCarthy, Dennis McCarthy, Jody Hudon, Phoebe Hudson-Foley, Craig Hudon and Sharon Malcolm. Five great-grandchildren, several nieces nephews. At the request of the deceased there will be no visitation. A service will be held at a later date. Donations in memory of Irene, may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society or a favorite charity.
