Bathurst - Mrs. Julie Chiasson, 63, wife of Domitien Chiasson, of King Ave., Bathurst, passed away on Saturday (February 7, 2009) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, after a lengthy illness. Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Elsie (Doucet) Doucet. Besides her husband, Domitien, she is survived by: Two sons: Bill (Trudy Oxford) of Halifax, NS Chris (Carol) of Oromocto, NB One daughter: Monique Roy (Guy) of Bathurst Four brothers: Reggie (Brenda), Raymond (Gloria) and Donald all of Bathurst Robert (Anita) of Madapedia, Que. Five sisters: Evangeline Vancot (Frank) of Middle River Lillian Doucet, Hazel Doucet (Serge LeBouthillier), Dorothy Fraser (Garry) and Blanche White (Peter) all of Bathurst 6 grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. She was pre-deceased by brothers; Clarence Jr., Emmanuel, and one sister; Alvida. The body will rest after 2 p.m. Monday at Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday (February 10, 2009) at 11 a.m. from the Sacred Heart Cathedral, St. Andrew St., Bathurst. Visiting hours are Monday from 2 to 4 and7 to 9 and Tuesday from 9 a.m. until time of Funeral.
