Bathurst - Mrs. Patricia Nini, 71, wife of Mario Nini, of Packard St., Bathurst, passed away on Wednesday (February 25, 2009) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, after a brief illness. Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Yvonne (Jones) Lavigne. Besides her husband, she is survived by: Two sons: Antonio (Monique Vienneau) of Bathurst Mario Jr. (Dorothy) of Little River, NB Two daughters: Alvera Melanson (Don) and Maurina Comeau (Mark) both of Moncton Four brothers: Thomas and Roy, both of Burlington, ON Michel of South Carolina, USA Wilfred of Vancouver, BC Three sisters: Fidelif Norton of South Hadley, Mass, USA Eleanor Lavigne (Fidele Jr.) and Theresa Lavigne, both of Bathurst 7 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday (March 3, 2009) at 2 p.m. from the Sacred Heart Cathedral, ST. Andrew St., Bathurst.
