Bathurst - Mrs. Elseleita "Elsie" Harris, 89, of Palmer Dr. and formerly of Upselquitch, NB, passed away on Monday (March 23, 2009) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, after a brief illness. Born in Dawsonville, Restigouche Co., NB, she was the daughter of the late William and Nina (Mann) Main. She was pre-deceased by her husband, Austin Harris. She is survived by: Two daughters: Grace Main (Boyd Morres) of Upselquitch, NB Betty Dumeresq of Bathurst Three brothers: Billy (Debbie) of Sterling, ON Melville (Sue) and Delbert (Sandra) both of Dalhousie Four sisters: Edith Murray of Upselquitch, NB Helena Savoie (Aurele) of Dalhousie Leata Hutson of Calgary, AB Mona Regan (John) of Port Williams, NS Daughter-in-law: Linda Major (Art) of Surrey, BC 7 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by a son; Blair, daughter; Verna, 2 brothers; Milton and Eric. The body will rest after 2 p.m. Wednesday at Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday (March 26, 2009) at 1 p.m. from the First United Church, St. Patrick St., Bathurst. Donations in memory of Elsie may be made to a charity of the donors choice. Visiting hours are Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9.
