Robert J. Lavigne - 60, of Raymond Street, formerly of Rough Waters Dr. passed away on Wednesday, May 6, 2009 at his residence. Born in Bathurst, he was the son of the late James and Macrena (Vienneau) Lavigne. He is survived by: 4 sisters: Marjorie (Roland) Boudreau of Bathurst, Ursula (Charlie) Picard of Campbellton, Adeline (Rodolphe) Toussaint of Trois-Rivière QC, Barbara Gamble of Ontario. 2 brothers: Jack (Yvonne) of Ontario, Roger (Judy) of Shediac. Several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by sisters; Esmerilda Tremblay and Alida Shannon. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, May 15, 2009 at 4 pm from the Sacred Heart Cathedral, St. Andrew St., Bathurst. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Bathurst. Donations in memory of Robert may be made to the Chaleur Regional Hospital Foundation or a charity of the donor’s choice.
