Bathurst - Christine "Chris" Ramsay, 49, of Vantassell St., Bathurst, passed away on Friday (May 15, 2009), at her residence a brief illness. Born in the Miramichi, she was the daughter of the late Gordon "Tippy" and Eleanor (Roy) Ramsay. She worked for Service Canada in the Employment Insurance Department. She is survived by: One son: Mark Ramsay of Bathurst Two sisters: Patricia Lynn Graves (David) and Peggy Ramsay both of Bathurst Several aunts, uncles and cousins. The family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday after 2 p.m. from Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday (May 20, 2009) at 2:00 p.m. from Holy Family Church, St. Peter Ave, Bathurst. Visiting hours are Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 only. Burial will be in the Miramichi at a later date. Donation in memory of Christine may be made to Chaleur Palliative Services, Extra Mural Program or a favorite charity.
