New Bandon – Mrs. Fern Wiseman, 70, wife of the late Byron Wiseman, of New Bandon, which occurred accidentally on Wednesday (August 12, 2009). Born in Janeville, she was the daughter of the late Aulay and Florence (Good) Scott. She was a member of Central United Church and the United Church Women. She was pre-deceased by her husband, Byron in 2005 She is survived by: Three sons: David Wiseman of Salmon Beach John Wiseman (Joanne) of Springfield Peter Wiseman (Cynthia) of Gander, NF Four brothers: Elmer Scott (Harriett) of Moncton Allison Scott (Verna) of Bathurst Francis Scott (Peggy) of Salmon Beach Roy Scott (Patricia) of Janeville Seven grandchildren, one great-grandson. Several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by a son, Tommy in 1970,a sister; Emily Wiseman and a step-brother; Arnold Good. The body will rest after 7 p.m. Friday at Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst. Funeral Service will be held on Sunday (August 16, 2009) from Central United Church, Clifton, at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be in the Stonehaven Cemetery. Visiting hours are Friday from 7 to 9, Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. As a token of sympathy, the family would appreciate donations to the Central United Church or a favorite charity.
