Bathurst - Mrs. Yvonne Harris, 66, wife of Melvin Harris, of Daniel Dr., Bathurst, passed away on Wednesday (August 19, 2009) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst. Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Vincent and Mary (Chiasson) King. Besides her husband, she is survived by: Four daughters: Sharon Jubinville (Steve) of Summerside, PEI Linda Harris (Guy Lanteigne) of Allardville Suzan Basque of Moncton Joanne Harris (Marco LeBlanc) of Bathurst One brother: Wallace of British Columbia One sister: Stella Fournier of Caraquet One step-brother: Herman Lavigne (Rose Marie) of Petit-Rocher 5 grandchildren; Kevin, Jonathan, Jason, Jenny-Lynn, Amanda, 1 great-grandson; Jesse, several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by a son; Ronald in 1968. There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday morning (August 22, 2009) at 11 a.m. from the Sacred Heart Cathedral, St. Andrew St., Bathurst.
