Big River, NB - Eric Hussey, 76, of Big River, passed away suddenly on Saturday (September 12, 2009) at his residence. Born in Bathurst, he was the son of the late Vincent and Mary (Curtis) Hussey. He worked at the former Consolidated Bathurst Paper Mill and as a T.V. repair man. He was pre-deceased by his wife, Bernice (Babin) Hussey. He is survived by: Three daughters: Debbie Hussey (Gerald Lockart) and Donna Aubie (Danny), both of Bathurst Jane Hussey (Roger Blanchard) of Bathurst. Two sons: Todd Hussey (Terri Lynn) of Bathurst Terrence Hussey (Adeline Outhouse) of Sussex. Two brothers: Floyd Hussey (Elaine) of Coburn, ON John Hussey (Brigitte) of Timmons, ON Two sisters: Anne Wind (David) of Yellowknife, NWT Faye Hussey of Big River 17 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by a daughter; Linda, a son; David and brothers; David and Carl. The family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. at Elhatton’s Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday (September 16, 2009) at 2:00 p.m. from the Sacred Heart Cathedral, Bathurst. Donations in memory of Eric may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a favourite charity.
