Bathurst - Mrs. Elena "Boots" Lennon, 75, wife of Larry Lennon, of Vantassel St., Bathurst, passed away on Thursday (September 24, 2009) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, after a lengthy illness. Born in St. Pat's, QC, she was the daughter of the late Al and Lena (Heney) Brown. Besides her husband, Larry, she is survived by: One son: Bob Lennon (Suzanne) of Bathurst Two grandchildren; Jonathan and Michelle. Four sisters: Mary Bourgeault of St. Pat's, QC Bertha Kennedy of Kitchener, ON Kay Melizia (Vince) of Ottawa, ON Ann Warren (Ross) of Montreal, QC Several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by a sister; Muriel Smith, brothers; Larry, Alfonzo and Arthur. The family will receive relatives and friends on Friday evening (October 2, 2009) from 7 to 9 p.m. at Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday morning (October 3, 2009) at 11 a.m. from Holy Family Church, Bathurst. Donation in memory of Elena may be made to a charity of the donors choice.
