Bathurst - Frederick Leslie, 82, of Couture St., Bathurst, passed away on Saturday (January 9, 2010) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, after a lengthy illness. Born in Huntsville, ON, he was the son of the late Joseph and Mary (LeBlanc) Leslie. He owned and operated the former Leslie Electric and later worked for Brunswick Mines until his retirement. Member of the Old Timers Ham Radio Club. Besides his wife, Connie (Branch), he is survived by: One son: William (Sylvie) of Bathurst One daughter: Linda Leslie of Bathurst. One brother: Rodney (Diane) of Bathurst 6 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Also survived by a close family friend, Jean Gionet (Joan) of Bathurst. He was pre-deceased by a son; James “Jimmy”. There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday (January 13, 2010) at 11 a.m. from Saint George's Anglican Church, King Ave, Bathurst. Donations in memory of Frederick, may be made to Diabetes Association, The Canadian Cancer Society or a favorite charity.
