Darthmouth, NS – Kevin Franklin Scott, 42, of Darthmouth, NS, passed away on Saturday (January 17, 2010) in the VG Site, QEII, Halifax, NS. Born in Fredericton, NB, he was the son of Elaine (Dempsey) Scott and the late John Franklin Scott. He attended Cole Harbour High and later NSCC Communication College, Akerley Campus. He worked as a Electronic Technician for Com Dev in Cambridge, ON. Besides his mother of Darthmouth, he is survived by: Two sisters: Tanya of Cole Harbour Brenda Scott of Marysville, NB Paternal grandmother; Lydia Scott of Bathurst Maternal grandmother; Isalee Dempsey of Stonehaven, NB His special friend; Sandy Eagle of Ontario. He was pre-deceased by his grandfathers; Stanley Scott and Thomas Dempsey and a brother, Paul. Visitation will be held after 2 p.m. Wednesday from Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday (January 21, 2010) at 2 p.m. from Elhatton’s Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Roderick Black officiating. Visiting hours are Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9.
