Bathurst - Mrs. Sheila Roy, 71, wife of the late Allie Roy, of Narcisse Lane, Bathurst, which occurred accidentally at her residence on Tuesday (February 2, 2010). Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late John Sr. and Loretta (Lavigne) Garrett. She is survived by: Three brothers: Louis (Irma) of Amherst, NS Melvin (Betty) and John Jr., both of Bathurst Four sisters: Frances Hennessy (late James) of Bathurst Adeline Kindahl (late Ebbe) of Alabama, USA Marion Rasku (Risto) of Calgary, AB Mary Breckenridge of Red Water, AB Several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband, she was pre-deceased by 2 sisters; Irene Power, Janet Bird, 2 brothers; Cletus and James. There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday afternoon (February 8, 2010) at 2 p.m. from the Sacred Heart Cathedral, St. Andrew St., Bathurst.
