Pabineau Falls, NB - Miss Leona Chamberlain, 62, of the Pitre Special Care Home, Pabineau Falls, NB, passed away on Thursday (February 11, 2010) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst. Born in South Tetagouche, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Stella (Pitre) Chamberlain. She is survived by her step-mother; Florence (Pitre) Chamberlain of Bathurst Step-sisters: Adeline Daigle Evangeline Chamberlain, Deneige Chamberlain, Evelyn Chamberlain, Theresa Chamberlain and Agela Chamberlain, all of Bathurst Step-brother: Omer Chamberlain of Bathurst Several step-nieces and step-nephews. There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be celebrated on Tuesday afternoon (February 16, 2010) at 2 p.m. from Elhatton's Funeral Home Chapel, with Father Edmond Chamberlain officiating. Donations in memory of Leona, may be made to the Palliative Care Unit of the Chaleur Regional Hospital Foundation or a favorite charity.
