Bathurst – Yvon “Ivan” Blanchard, 54, of St., Patrick St., Bathurst, passed away on Tuesday (November 9, 2010) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst.
 
Born in Bathurst, he was the son of the late Yves and Marjorie (Lavigne) Blanchard.
 
He is survived by:  Two brothers; Paul (Cindy) and Cleo, both of Edmunston, NB.  Three sisters; Yvonne Blanchard (Wayne Simmons) of Bathurst, Monique Blanchard (Pete Wilson) and Jacqueline Caron (Pete), both of Stratford, ON.  6 nieces and nephews, 4 grand nieces and nephews.
The body will rest after 2 p.m. Friday at Elhatton Funeral Home, Bathurst.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 11 am (November 13, 2010) at the Sacred Heart Cathedral, St. Andrew St., Bathurst.  Visiting hours are Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9, Saturday from 9 am until time of funeral.
