John Paul Lavigne of Riverside Drive, Bathurst, at the age of 63, passed away on Friday, November 19, 2010, after a lenghty illness at his residence.
 
Born in Bathurst, he was a son of the late Allan Lavigne and late Gloria Hachey.
He was pre-deceased by his common-law wife, Marie Ange Rose and is survived by: five brothers; Ronald of Bathurst, David of Kitchener, ON, Brian (Colleen) of Trail, BC, Wayne (Mary Anne) of Kitchener, ON, Gary (Lianne) of Chelmsford, ON.  Four sisters; Lorraine (Norman) Ibbitson and Brenda Frenette both of Ste Anne, Gloucester Co, NB, Elda Anne (Pinky) Jenner of Trail, BC, Patsy Roy (Roger) of Truro NS, Wendy Wagner (Larry) of Kitchener, ON.  One half-sister, Bertha Daigle (Cerice) of Bathurst; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
 
There will be no visitations at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be held at 2 pm on Wednesday, November 24, 2010 at the Elhatton Funeral Home Chapel (www.elhatton.com) Bathurst.
