Bathurst - Leona Arseneau, 81, formerly of Doucet’s subdivision, Bathurst, passed away on Saturday (December 25, 2010) at the Foyer Notre Dame de Lourdes, Bathurst.

Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Wilfred and Frances (Christie) Arseneau.

She is survived by: Four sisters, Evelyn Hachey of Roseneath, ON, Betty Hall of Riverview, Angie MacIntosh of Calgary, AB, Regina Calnan of Bathurst.  Three brothers, Jimmy Arseneau (Anita) of Toronto, ON, Cletus Arseneau (Marie) and Eric Arseneau (Phyllis) both of Bathurst.  Several nieces and nephews.

She was pre-deceased by sisters, Christina, Rita Doucet, brothers; René, Leandre and Aurèle.

There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday (December 31, 2010) at 11 a.m. from Our Lady of the Rosary Church, St. Peter Ave., Bathurst.  Donations in memory of Leona may be made to the Foyer Notre de Lourdes Foundation or a charity of the donors choice.  Arrangements are in the care of Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst.
