Bathurst - Mrs. Agnes "Nancy" Marcoux, wife of the late Jean Marcoux, of Bathurst, passed away Tuesday (January 25, 2011) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, after a brief illness at the age of 86.

Born in Sanquhar, Scotland, she was the daughter of the late James and Jean (Shankland) Mitchell.

She worked for many years at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst.

She is survived by: one daughter, Linda Branch (Blair) of Bathurst;  one son, Richard Murphy (Laura) of Clifton, N.B.  Son-in-law, Dave Chiasson (Pat) of Red Deer, Alb.  6 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Besides her parents and husband, she was pre-deceased by a daughter, Lorna Chiasson.

There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home.  A memorial service will be held on Monday (January 31, 2011) at 2 p.m. from St. Luke's Presbyterian Church, Murray Ave., Bathurst.  A reception will follow in the church hall.  Donations can be made in her memory to St. Luke's Presbyterian Church or a favorite charity.  Arrangements are in the care of Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst.
