Bathurst - Mrs. Annette Roy, 67, wife of the late Gérard W. Roy, of St. Simon St., Bathurst, passed away on Thursday (March 10, 2011) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, after a lengthy illness.

Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Wilfred and Délia (Chiasson) Duclos.

She worked as a Hostess in several different restaurants in the Bathurst area.

She is survived by: One son; Paul Roy (Adeline) of Bathurst.  One daughter; Yvette Roy of Bathurst.  One brother; Walter Duclos (Jeanne) of Toronto, ON.  2 grandchildren; Mélanie and Richard.  An adopted sisters; Diane Cormier (Réjean) of Bathurst.  Several nieces and nephews.
She was pre-deceased by a sister, Yvette Lavigne, a brother, Delphis and 3 infant brothers.

There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home.  Funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday afternoon (March 14, 2011) at 4 p.m. from Our Lady of the Rosary Church, Bathurst.  Donations in memory of Annette may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a favorite charity.  Arrangements are in the care of Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst.
