Bathurst - Roger Thibodeau, 69, of Blanchard Ave., Bathurst, passed away at his residence on Tuesday (March 29, 2011).
Born in Bathurst, he was the son of the late Emilien and Viola (Duguay) Thibodeau.
He was retired from Smurfit Stone Paper Mill.
Besides his wife, Sandra (Lordon) Thibodeau, he is survived by:  Four sons, Kevin of Bathurst, Keith (Chris Greig) of Swan Hill, AB, Terry (Sonia) of Bathurst and Shawn (Tammy) of Texas, USA.  Four brothers, Phillip (Barb) of Bathurst, Rhéal (Yvette) of Bathurst, Reginald (Carolle) of Bathurst, Gilbert of Winsor, ON.  Nine sisters, Alice Gerard (Homer) of Winsor, ON, Marie-May Dugaro (Joe) of Terrace, BC, Paulette Thibodeau (Art Mallet) of Bathurst, Adrienne Brown (Jim) of Winsor, ON, Rita Duguay of Bathurst, Rose-Marie Doherty (Milton) of Dalhousie, Patricia Doucet (John) of Bathurst, Gisèlle Legacy (Simon) of Bathurst, Lillian Thibodeau of Kingston, ON.  9 grandchildren, Kyle, Ryan, Sarah, Jack, Max, Madeleine, Claire, Isaac and Elliot.  Several nieces and nephews.
 
The family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday (April 5, 2011) from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 at Elhatton’s Funeral Home.  Funeral Service will be celebrated on Wednesday (April 6, 2011) at 2 p.m. from the Sacred Heart Cathedral, St. Andrew St., Bathurst.  Donations in memory of Roger may be made to Canadian Cancer Society, Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of the donors choice.  Arrangements are in the care of Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst.
