Bathurst - Mrs. Claudette Chiasson, 65, wife of Albany Chiasson, of Fleet Cres., Bathurst, passed away peacefully on Thursday (October 13, 2011) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst.

Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Lucien and Alfreda (White) Savoie.

Besides her husband, she is survived by three children: Terry (Dany) Chiasson, Nicole (Stéphane) Chiasson, Anthony (Michèle) Chiasson. Four grandchildren: Jonathan, Sonia, Matthieu and Justin. Four brothers: Roger (Denise) Savoie, Raymond (Fernande) Savoie, Gilles Savoie and Daniel (Lisa) Savoie. Five sisters: Jocelyne (Alfred) David, Denise (Lucien) Benoit, Gisèle (Paul) Ross, Monique (Jean-Paul) Frenette and Debbie Savoie. Mrs. Claudette Chiasson was predeceased by two brothers: Robert Savoie and Jean-Claude Savoie.

There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home.  A private Funeral Service will be celebrated from Elhatton's Funeral Home Chapel, Bathurst.  Donations in memory of Claudette may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of the donor’s choice.  Arrangements are in the care of Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst.
