Bathurst - It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Michael Bourque, of Bathurst, which occurred Tuesday (January 31, 2012) at his residence at the age of 46.

Born in Bathurst, he was the son of Rheal "Butch" and Phyllis (Landry) Bourque.

Besides his parents of Bathurst, he is survived by

one brother, Stephen (Karen) of Bathurst;

two sisters: Susan Melanson (Eric) of Bathurst and Carolyn Mixon (Dave) of California, U.S.,

nephews: Mathew Wilson, Mitchel & Nicholas Melanson, Spencer Mixon;

niece, Vanessa Buttimer.

Michael was a loving son, brother and great "Uncle Mikey".

Michael spent many years travelling throughout Canada and the U.S.  He loved music especially playing guitar.

There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home.  Funeral Service will be celebrated on Saturday morning (February 4, 2012) at 11 a.m. from Elhatton's Funeral Home Chapel, with Father Edmond Chamberlain officiating.   Donations in memory of Michael may be to a charity of the donor’s choice.  Arrangements are in the care of Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst.
