Bathurst - Jonathan Gauthier-Hines, 21, of Bathurst, passed away accidentally on Saturday (June 2, 2012) in South Tetagouche.

Born in Bathurst, he was the son of Rodney Hines (Jacqueline) of South Tetagouche and Claudia Gauthier (Francis Fournier) of Bathurst.

He worked for Antonio Roy’s Construction and was a avid outdoorsman.  

Besides his parents, he is survived by his spouse, Stephanie Peter Paul; 

one son, Landon Hines at home;

one brother, Michel Duguay of South Tetagouche;

one sister, Jennifer Cyr (Kyle Glazier) of Middle River;

two step-sisters: Carole Duguay of Bathurst and  Alexandra Fournier of Bathurst;

paternal grandparents: Clifford and Helen Hines of Bathurst;

maternal grandmother, Claudette Laurette of South Tetagouche;

maternal grandfather, Fred Gauthier of Bathurst; several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

The body will rest after 7 p.m. Thursday at Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst. 

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday afternoon (June 8, 2012) at 2 p.m. from Holy Family Church, St. Peter Ave., Bathurst.  Visiting hours are Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday from noon until time of Funeral.
