Bathurst – Barbara Dobson, 92, wife of the late Keith Dobson, formerly of Murray Ave., Bathurst, passed away on Saturday (June 30, 2012) at the Forest Dale Nursing Home in Riverside Albert.

Born in Dorchester, she was the daughter of the late Henry Read and Faulein (Price) Emmerson.

She is survived by two sons: Kenneth Dobson (Marina) and Richard Dobson (Glenda), both of Bathurst.

Four daughters: Ann Duffy (Paul) of Hillsborough, Kathleen Scott (Bryan) of Moncton, Dianne Gendron (Michael) of Kingston Pininsula, N.B. and Marjorie Lindberg (Ed) of South Surrey, B.C.

16 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild.

One brother, John Emmerson (Chrystal) of Moncton, several nieces and nephews.

She was pre-deceased by twelve sisters and brothers; a daughter, Barbara Lee; a son, James "Jim" and a grandson, Chad Lemire.

There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home.

Funeral Service will be held on Sunday afternoon (July 8, 2012) at 2:00 p.m. from the First United Church, St. Patrick St., Bathurst, with a reception to follow in the Church Hall.
