Bathurst - It is with great sadness that the family announces the death of Joyce M. (Hachey) Daigle, formerly of the Boudreau Nursing Home on College St., wife of the late Leonard "Red" Daigle, which occurred Tuesday (August 14, 2012) at the Foyer Notre Dame de Lourdes, Bathurst, at the age of 82.

Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence "Larr" and Helen "Nellie" (Doucet) Hachey.

Joyce is survived by one son Steven Daigle of Phoenix Arizona;

one brother, Kenneth Hachey (Therese) of Bathurst;

one sister, Vera Hussey of Bathurst;

many nieces and nephews. 

Besides her parents, she was pre-deceased by her brothers: Guy, Louis and a sister Gloria (Hachey) Lavigne.

At Joyce's request, there will be no visitation at the Funeral Home. 

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday morning (August 20, 2012) at 11 a.m. from Holy Family Church, St. Peter Ave., Bathurst.  Donations in memory of Joyce may be made to a charity of the donors choice.
