South Tetagouche - Joyce Kennedy-Veniot, 54, wife of Barry Veniot, of South Tetagouche, passed away on Sunday (September 23, 2012) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst.

Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mildred (Green) Kennedy.

She worked at Canadian Tire until 1990.

Besides her husband, she is survived by two sisters: Shirley Kennedy of Moncton and Arleen Wood of Oxford, N.S.

Three brothers:  Stephen (Vicki) of North Tetagouche, Joseph of Bathurst and John of Sussex, N.B.

Her in-laws: John and Cecile Veniot of Bathurst.

Sisters-in-law: Sheila Veniot, Connie Doucet (Ronald) and Debbie Smith (Bradley) all of Bathurst.

Brothers-in-law: Donald Veniot (Mary Pelkola) and Danny Veniot (Lisa Rodgers) both of Bathurst.

Several nieces and nephews.

The body will rest after 7 p.m. Tuesday at Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst. 

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday morning (September 26, 2012) at 11 a.m. from Holy Family Church, Bathurst. 

Visiting hours are Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 9 a.m. until time of Funeral. 

Donations in memory of Joyce may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society or a favorite charity.
